Irwin Kanefsky
Irwin Kanefsky
After moving to Scottsdale in 1986, Irwin and wife Shari became involved in volunteer work for the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix. Over the next 30 years, Irwin served in a variety of key leadership positions, including as Vice Chair of Federation, Major Gifts Co-chair and Campaign Co-chair. In addition to volunteering for Federation, Irwin has been involved with other Jewish organizations, including as Board Chair for the Valley of the Sun JCC, where he was instrumental in bringing the Maccabi Games to our community and managed the campus during the games. He also served as Board Chair of the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus and Board Member of the Jewish Community Foundation and Har Zion Congregation (Or Tzion).
We are grateful for his longtime commitment to both the Federation and to our local Jewish community.
